Since 1986, Stuart Weitzman has been inspired by women who are confident, bold — and, above all, strong.
The Fall 2023 Collection introduces new iterations of the brand’s iconic over-the-knee boots, including the LOWLAND and the 5050, the latter of which celebrates its 30th anniversary this season. It also debuts a wide breadth of versatile booties, featuring a look for every day, outfit and occasion. Finally, uptown-inspired pumps and downtown-inspired loafers offer polished office-ready options for back-to-work season. Designed to fit your lifestyle, each silhouette stays true to the brand’s signature focus on melding craftsmanship, comfort and quality.
With our meticulous dedication to detail and history of artisanal Spanish craftsmanship, we create beautiful shoes that deliver style and comfort.
We put ourselves in the shoes of the women who wear ours, all the while listening closely to give them exactly what they want, exactly when they need it.
We are agile and set the trends while staying true to our iconic silhouettes. Through it all, our shoes are designed to inspire you to shine with confidence every step of the way.
We continuously strive to break the mold in everything we do and are always ready to innovate and take our fashion-forward designs one step further.
Founder Stuart Weitzman always believed that a beautiful shoe is useless unless it feels as wonderful as it looks.
Born in 1941 on Long Island, New York, Stuart Weitzman grew up apprenticing under his father, Seymour Weitzman, at the Mr. Seymour shoe factory in Haverhill, Massachusetts. In 1986, he launched his namesake brand. Since then, the majority of Stuart Weitzman’s collections have been produced in Elda, Spain, a tiny city in the Alicante province known for its artisanal shoemaking.
As one of only a few designers who was also a skilled patternmaker, it did not take long before he became known for combining fashion and function in each pair of shoes. To this day, Stuart Weitzman shoes are synonymous with style and comfort.
In 2018, Stuart retired after more than five decades in the footwear industry. Today, the Stuart Weitzman brand is part of Tapestry, a New York City-based house of brands.
